ChanceWire uses first-party cookies and similar storage:

  • cw_age_ok — records that you confirmed legal age (required before partner CTAs).
  • cw_geo_stub — placeholder region code until real geo lookup is added.
  • cw_vid — opaque first-party visitor UUID (~1 year, Secure + SameSite=Lax). Joins page views, track events, and /r clicks; links to your account when signed in. First-touch UTMs from the landing URL may be stored server-side with this id.
  • cw_admin_session — signed-in admin session for /ops.

On Vercel hosting we may also load Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for product/performance metrics (not affiliate EPC). First-party /r click tracking remains the conversion source of truth.

Theme preference uses localStorage (cw-theme), not a cookie. Page views are sent via a small client beacon to /api/track.
