How we make money
Last updated: September 19, 2026
ChanceWire is a free editorial and comparison site about prediction markets and event contracts. We keep the lights on primarily through affiliate and media partnerships: when you use certain links on our site and later register or fund an account with a partner platform, we may earn a commission or referral fee. That does not increase the price you pay the platform.
How our links work
Outbound partner buttons often go through ChanceWire paths like /r/[token]. Those redirects help us measure which links were clicked and attribute visits for partnership reporting. Until a program is approved, a token may still point at a public homepage stub rather than a final tracked partner URL.
Partners and status
- Polymarket (via Dub Partners): Our primary apply-now publisher path. Approval and live tracked links may still be pending. We will not claim active Dub earnings until an approved partner account and wired destinations are in place.
- Kalshi, Novig, and similar negotiate-only venues: We may discuss private media, data-display, or acquisition deals. Until we have written authorization (and, where required, Partner IDs or data licenses), those platforms remain not listed for production CTAs or republished odds.
- Not a monetization path for us: Products with no relevant publisher program, and Google Ads paid traffic that promotes prediction markets as an affiliate or info publisher — Google’s policy excludes that advertiser type for this category. We plan organic search, owned channels, and direct partnerships instead.
We do not invent commission rates on public pages. If we ever publish economics, they will match written partner terms.
Editorial independence
We aim for fair, Bankrate-style comparisons. We do not sell rankings. Commercial relationships can affect whether a tracked CTA appears, not whether we invent a “best” badge for pay. Opinions and explainers should reflect honest research; endorsements must be supportable.
FAQ
Do you get paid if I only read an article?
No — reading is free. Compensation, if any, is tied to qualifying actions defined by partners after you use a tracked link.
Is this financial advice?
No. ChanceWire does not provide investment, trading, or legal advice.
Why might a button say partnership pending?
Because we refuse to fake live affiliate tracking. Stub destinations protect compliance until approval is real.
For FTC-style detail on affiliate relationships, age requirements (legal age in your jurisdiction; some partners such as Novig require 21+), geo legality, and “not financial advice” language, see our Affiliate disclosure. The same themes appear in the site’s disclosure banner.
