Privacy policy

ChanceWire stores minimal data required to operate the product: page-view beacons (path, optional referrer, user-agent), affiliate click logs (hashed IP, user-agent, referrer, geo stub), and an admin session cookie when you sign into /ops. When the site is hosted on Vercel, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights may collect anonymized product and performance data. Affiliate earnings and EPC use our first-party /r click logs, not Vercel Analytics.

If you create an account, we store your email (and OAuth provider ids), optional profile fields you choose to share — display name, region interest, topics, communication preferences, and optional gender — plus an onboarding-completed timestamp and (if you confirm) an 18+ confirmation time. Gender and other profile prefs are for optional editorial personalization only; they are not used for venue routing, odds, SoftCta, AgeGate, or geo. Account pages (/account*) are noindex.

Age confirmation, geo stub, and a first-party visitor id are stored in cookies (cw_age_ok, cw_geo_stub, cw_vid). The visitor id is an opaque UUID used to join page views, tool/CTA events, and affiliate clicks, and — when you are signed in — to link that anonymous history to your account. First-touch campaign parameters (utm_*, optional gclid/fbclid) from the landing URL may be stored with that visitor record. Theme preference is stored in localStorage.

We do not sell personal information. Analytics in v1 are first-party database records. When deploying to production, review hosting-provider logs and add a full privacy review before collecting more data.

Third-party platforms you visit via redirects have their own privacy policies.
